Get to Know Our Co-Founders!
Casey ArrudaCasey is currently attending the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine to become a medical doctor and is a recent graduate of Clark University where he double majored in biology and a self-designed neuroscience major! Casey is a Gold Medal Congressional Award winner and STEM Award recipient, which is the highest civilian honor granted by Congress for anyone under the age of 24 years old. He graduated magna cum laude and was a recipient of the university's prestigious Premed Edward N. Trachtenberg Endowment Scholarship, which is given to exemplary premed students. Casey was also inducted into his college's AED Premedical Honors Society as one of the first members. Casey has received numerous awards and scholarships for his community service work and academic excellence, including, but not limited to, the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards and a five time gold medal recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award. His national award winning essay for the Oxi Day Foundation in honor of is Greek heritage is also internationally published. Casey is the youngest recipient of the Best and the Brightest Award for his excellency in community service. In addition to his volunteer and academic achievement, Casey was also a four-year member and lead designer of his high school's award-winning robotics team and served on his school's newspaper all four years. |
Lindsey ArrudaLindsey is currently attending New England College of Optometry to become an eye doctor and she is a recent graduate of Providence College Honors Program where she double majored in biology and music (voice performance)! Lindsey is a Gold Medal Congressional Award Recipient and Coca-Cola Scholar. She graduated summa cum laude with the highest GPA for music major, where she also has served as her collegiate choir's newsletter and secretary for three years. She was inducted into the AED Premedical Honors Society. She placed 1st runner up at Miss Rhode Island 2024 as Miss Providence, 2nd runner up at Miss Rhode Island 2023, and top 10 at Miss Massachusetts 2022 as Miss Fall River. Lindsey is the youngest recipient of the Somerset's Lions Club Person of the Year for her community service endeavors. Lindsey has received numerous awards and scholarships for her community service work and academic excellence, including, but not limited to, the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards and a five time gold medal recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award. Her national award winning essay on the examples of the Greek word, "philotimo," was shared over 5,000 times on international online news sites. Lindsey was also president of her high school's varsity show choir, president of the theater department, and Musictown Queen and Miss Congeniality, as well as a member of student council and the newspaper all four years. |
